Correction of Spectra for the Pixel Response Function

Accurate flux calibration of extracted spectra has to take into account the effect of undersampling of the Point Spread Function on the NIC3 detector. Intra-pixel sensitivity variations have a significant effect on the extracted spectra of compact objects. A correction for the effect of the Pixel Response Function (PRF) needs interactive intervention and is therefore only implemented in NICMOSlook.
