Running the Program

 Before attempting to run Calnic C make sure that all environment variables (section 5.3) and system config files (section 2.6.1) are set to desired values. To run, simply type the following at the UNIX prompt:

The first method demonstrates how to call Calnic C with a single direct/grism FITS file pair. The second method shows how to process a series of direct/grism FITS file pairs that are stored in an input file.
