Next: Input to Calnic C
Up: Using Calnic C
Previous: Customizing Calnic C
Before attempting to run Calnic C make sure that all environment
variables
(section 5.3) and system config files (section 2.6.1)
are
set to desired values. To run, simply type the following at the UNIX
prompt:
- calnicc direct.fits grism.fits
(where
direct.fits and grism.fits are the fits files of the direct and grism
images respectively)
or
- calnicc -f im_list (where im_list is an ascii
file containing a direct and grism FITS file pair, plus the name of an
optional object list, per line. This list should be in the same format
as what is produced by the companion program NICMOSlook (See section
E)).
The first method demonstrates how to call Calnic C with a single
direct/grism FITS file pair. The second method shows how to process a
series
of direct/grism FITS file pairs that are stored in an input file.
Refer to the following section for a more detailed
description of the input Calnic C requires.
