Standard Case Reduction - Fiat Fielding of Spectra

Introduction

The purpose of fiat fielding is to normalize the diode-to-diode
sensitivity differences. and remove fine structure variations in the
photocathode. Separate fiat field arrays are required for each
conibination of detector, disperser. aperture, and polarizer mode. The
fiat fielding process is carried out after the count to eount rate
COflVeT8ZOfl and paired pulse correcüon (both standard case
reductions). and the background subtractzon.
