1. Abstract

We present here the details of the sky background data obtained with
the Faint Object Spectrograph in Science Verification proposals
8V2965, SV2966 and SV2967. Sky ligbt is an importarit contributor to
several of the instrument configurations especially when the large
sdence aperture is used. This data allowed us to derive some of tue
dependencies of the sky background on tlie telescope pointing
direction.
