Abstract


Line spectra, obta.ined following the final FOS detector aiignment in
August 1988, ire examined to determine line widths a.nd assess the
optical focus for all dispersers (except G13OH) and the camera., on
both sides of the FOS. The detector focus a.djustment is found to be
satisfa.ctory and probably neaxly optimal. Some recommendations for
wavelength ca.libration line identification arc made. Poor performance
of tlie fllter-gra.ting wheel on the red side ii also iuferred.
