Interference in substrate (backside illuminated) & window
- at peak when optical depth around 1 (approx 800 nm for Si, 50 mu)
- devastating effect on “flat-fielding” (illumination dependent)
- yet to be included, but we know exactly how (cf Hecht, Optics)
