Free format text (clear and concise) The principle objective is to monitor the determine throughputs of the neutral density filters, especially F4ND and F6ND. Observations of the core of NGC5139 will provide a wide-range of magnitudes and a large number of stars for the analysis, along with direct comparison with previous calibrations done at different wavelengths. Images of R136A are necessary in order to obtain high enough S/N observations in the UV, and also to check the higher ND filters (ie, F6ND, and F8ND). Questions ! Free format text (clear and concise) Observing_Description: Use blind pointing to acquire a field near the core of a globular cluster with the F470M filter. Subsequent observations in the visit will be taken with different ND combinations. The second visit to observe R136A will use blind pointing and the F253M filter. Different ND combinations will also be used on this target as well. Real_Time_Justification: Calibration_Justification: The calibration of the FOC's absolute sensitivity and any photometric reductions of FOC observations taken with ND's require accurate calibrations of their throughputs. Furthermore, observations of bright targets require the use of ND filters, and accurate knowledge of the throughputs are necessary in order to insure the safety of the FOC during such observations.
