Free format text (clear and concise) In Cycle 4 we obtained WFPC2 images of a portion of the OB association NGC 206 in M31 for the purpose of determining the Initial Mass Function of the intermediate mass stars. In this program we are obtaining a background field in order to be able to subtract, statistically, stars in the NGC 206 field that are not members of the association. This is necessary in order to determine a true IMF of the association. Questions ! Free format text (clear and concise) Observing_Description: The exposures of the background field are intended to duplicate what was done for the NGC 206 field itself. This involves F336W, F555W, and F814W exposures. Each is split for purposes of removing cosmic-rays. Since the original exposures occupied one and a fraction orbits, we have scaled back the F336W exposure in order to fit everything into one orbit. Real_Time_Justification: Not applicable.
