The FOC will observe fields in B and V, at the center and 20'' out, while WFPC2 observes (on the same field at all times) in V and I. The WFPC2 field will reach at least to V = 26. Questions ! Free format text (clear and concise) Observing_Description: The program takes 8 orbits; each observation is repeated in 2 successive orbits. The primary exposures are FOC, on a field at the center and one 20'' out. On each field we take 2 orbits with F430W and 2 with F480LP; these are well matched for lower-MS stars. The WFPC2 exposures are all parallel, and for the second FOC field HST is rotated so that WFPC2 again observes the same field; the WFPC2 time is about equally divided between F606W and F814W. The FOC takes full-orbit exposures, while the WFPC2 exposures are divided into 2 per orbit, with some shorter exposures thrown in, to deal with stars that saturate in the longer exposures. Note also the request that the parallels be lengthened by hand if the primaries are expanded (since RPS2 will not accept EXPAND on parallels). Real_Time_Justification: N. A. Calibration_Justification: N. A. Additional_Comments: All primary exposures have parallels (which are actually more important than the primaries). The displacement between the 2 FOC fields is done with a POS TARG, so as to allow the orientation change to be independent of the initial orientation. Since the visibility duration varies, it would be highly advantageous if this program could be scheduled during a period of long visibility. Fixed_Targets !
