Questions ! Free format text (clear and concise) Observing_Description: The crowded Omega Cen field is positioned with a bright star at the center of each CCD in turn. Images are taken through each of the photometric filters--F336W, F439W, F555W, F675W, and F814W. An exposure using the F555W is also obtained with a preflash of 160 electrons. In addition, an exposure is taken using the F606W filter. Assume that the CTE proposal has been run and gives satisfactory results. After pipeline processing, each image will be reduced by aperture photometry to measure the RMS errors in the flat fields. The RMS error will be determined by the additional noise in the independent measurements over the expected variance of less than 1% from photon statistics. The single bright star at the center of each chip independently estimates the chip to chip normalization error. If CTE calibration fails, this proposal may need to be run with preflash (and take more time or do less filters.) NOTE TO SCHEDULERS- Bill Workman is the PC for this proposal, and is familiar with the requirements. This program requires 4 orbits. In each orbit, the following sequence of filter observations are taken: Preflash & F555W, F555W, F336W, F439W, F675W, and F814W. But a different aperture is used in each orbit, for example, the PC for orbit 1, the WF2 for orbit 2, and so forth. The first observations in each orbit is a preflash-F555W pair; The preflash should be done during occultation (or during guide star acq./re-acq. if possible) but must be followed within 5 to 10 minutes by the subsequent F555W exposure. This is because the INTFLAT is set to READ=NO, and we are worried about cosmic ray accumulation in the preflash. - SG Real_Time_Justification: Calibration_Justification: Additional_Comments: Fixed_Targets !
