In particular we intend to use HST line_4: and WF/PC II to image cluster galaxies in the near and far-UV. Nearby line_5: ellipticals and spiral bulges show dramatic upturns (UVX) in their UV line_6: light below 2000A, and the UVX origin remains unknown. Strong constraints line_7: can be put on the origin of the UVX by tracing its behaviour in cluster line_8: galaxies over redshifts of 0.18
