In M31 our targets include line_4: one giant HII region (NGC206), two arm samples (Baade Fields line_5: 3 and 4), two disk samples adjacent to those arms, and one line_6: position in the bulge. In M33 our targets include one giant line_7: HII region (NGC604) and one arm field (cluster C27). The shortest exposures are designed to record the line_4: brightest member stars (not foreground) without saturation, line_5: while the longest (2000 seconds in some of the fields) will line_6: reach magnitude limits set partly by star image crowding. ! question: 6 section: 1 line_1: Exposures that are uninterrupted (except for CR-splits) are line_2: needed to maximize the S/N.
