The Throughput of the F/96 line_2: was extensively measured during SV. This proposal repeats some of those line_3: measurements to verify that the throughput of the F/96 relay is not changing. line_4: Eight medium band filters, chosen the F/96 wavelength range, are used. They are: line_5: F140M, F170M, F210M, F253M, F346M, F410M, and F550M. Since the three bluest line_6: filters were previously monitored with an observatory level program which used line_7: BPM16274 as the spectrophotometric standard, those filters will continue to use line_8: that star. As with previous UV monitoring exposures, an interactive acquisition line_9: will be required. Since BPM16274 is not a visible spectrophotometric standard, line_10: a different standard is used for the rest of the filters. Since a significant line_11: variation of sensitivity with format has been detected, a series of exposures line_12: using the same filter combination but different video formats is included to line_13: more accurately measure the effect. The filters have been precisely calibrated at the line_4: unit level. As we know their transmisison characteristics line_5: accurately, and we know the flux of the standard star, we can determine line_6: the sensitivity of the OTA + FOC from the observed FOC photon counts. line_7: The throughput must be evaluated at a number of different wavelengths. line_8: The results will be compared to those obtained for the same filters from line_9: SV proposal 1511. To check for the format-dependent changes in line_10: sensitivity, the 512zx1024, 512zx512, 512x1024, and 256x256 formats line_11: will be used with one filter combination in addition to the usual line_12: 512x512 format.
