abstract:

    line_1:        The GHRS will be used in medium resolution mode G160M to
    line_2:        observe the very weak absorption lines of interstellar Kr
    line_3:        and Ge at wavelengths near 1236 A, and in Echelle B to
    line_4:        record Zn and Cr near 2064 A. The S/N as determined by photon
    line_5:        statistics will be approximately 400 for the shorter
    line_6:        wavelengths and 100 for the longer.
