abstract:

    line_1:        This activity will perform some basic tests on the GHRS
    line_2:        side 2 components:  Detector electronics, carrousel,
    line_3:        digicon window heater, shutter, lamps, science data
    line_4:        interface, test pulser, integration and reset capability.
    line_5:        The resulting science and engineering data will be analyzed
    line_6:        to verify the functioning of these components of the GHRS
    line_7:        hardware.

    line_3:        commanding for this activity will be issued by activating
    line_4:        the ZMAMECH and ZMADATA RTS's.  The instrument will be
    line_5:        returned to HOLD mode using normal commanding.
