The filters have been line_3: precisely calibrated at the unit level. As we know their transmisison line_4: characteristics accurately, and we know the flux of the standard star, we line_5: can determine the sensitivity of the OTA + FOC from the observed FOC line_6: photon counts. The throughput must be evaluated at a number of different line_7: wavelengths, using more than one standard star for reliability.
