abstract:

    line_1:        This test is designed to perform a check of the
    line_2:        expected funtioning of the FOS when 'degaussing'
    line_3:        is removed from the begin acquisition commanding
    line_4:        in the microprocessor. Proper verification of this
    line_5:        item is required for successful on orbit GIMP
    line_6:        correction.  This proposal will also verify the
    line_7:        final GIMP correction coefficients required for
    line_8:        on orbit GIMP correction, as well as provide a
    line_9:        second baseline measurement to verify no temporal
    line_10:       drifting of the coefficients has occured since
    line_11:       4/91.
