The profiles and velocities of chromospheric emission lines will be line_4: used to estimate temperatures, densities, turbulences, and line_5: flow velocities in these stellar chromospheres and winds. line_6: The (confusing) far UV spectrum of the M supergiants will be explored with line_7: the GHRS. Circumstellar absorption features seen against line_8: chromospheric emission and continua from the photosphere and line_9: chromosphere will be used to estimate the physical conditions line_10: in the circumstellar shells.
