These include the Crab, Eta line_3: Carina, SS433, and Cygnus Loop, and four bipolar outflow sources. In each case line_4: high spatial and S/N imaging will be conducted to better understand the line_5: morphology and motions in these unusual objects. Transmission grating, UV and line_6: V exposures of NGC 6712, a globular cluster with a central X-ray source, will line_7: be taken to identify sources with unusual spectra. ! ! end of abstract general_form_proposers: lname: WESTPHAL fname: JAMES mi: A. inst: CALTECH country: USA ! ! end of general_form_proposers block general_form_text: question: 3 section: 1 line_1: All exposures should be in Cycle 1. ! question: 13 section: 1 line_1: Photometric and polarimetric imaging with the PC of Eta Car and NGC1952 line_2: (Crab) for morphology and first epoch plates will be taken for high resolution line_3: motion studies. Deep F648M pictures of SS433 to study the ejecta and F194M, line_4: F569W, G450, and G800 grating images of NGC6712 will be taken to search for line_5: objects with unusual spectra. Photometric and polarimetric imaging of the line_6: bipolar outflow sources GL490, S106/IRS3, L1551 and HH 7-11 with filters F702W line_7: and F850LP will be taken for morphologic and motion studies. NGC6995 will be line_8: studied with F376N, F502N, F561W, F631W, and F656N. ! !end of general form text general_form_address: lname: WESTPHAL fname: JAMES mi: A. category: PI inst: CALTECH ! ! end of general_form_address records fixed_targets: targnum: 7 name_1: HH7-11IR descr_1: BI-POLAR OUTFLOW SOURCE pos_1: RA= 03H 26M 00.0S +/-0.1S, pos_2: DEC= +31D 05' 29" +/-1.0" equinox: 1950 ! targnum: 9 name_1: NGC188-PSFS descr_1: PSF CLUSTER pos_1: RA = 00H 47M 20S +/-1.0S, pos_2: DEC = +85D 15' 10" +/- 5.0" equinox: 2000 ! ! end of fixed targets !
