    line_1:        The aim of this proposal is to check the stability
    line_2:        of the aperture locations. This is complementary to
    line_3:        the individual SI aperture calibrations, and checks
    line_4:        the relative distances between TA apertures, while
    line_5:        at the same time checking on the accuracy of Mode 1
    line_6:        WFPC-assisted target acquisitions. The program's aim is
    line_7:        accomplished by maneuvering between instruments and
    line_8:        by determining the errors using Mode 2 (onboard) TAs.
    line_9:        Due to the power limitations of HST, only 2 SI's
    line_10:       (plus WFPC) can be checked at each visit. The sequence
    line_11:       of observations is the following:
    line_13:       1. PC image of an astromertic standard (in omega Cen)
    line_14:       2. slew to SI 1, image of TA aperture
    line_15:       3. (optional) parallel PC image
    line_16:       4. Mode 2 target acquisition
    line_17:       5. slew to SI 2, image of TA aperture
    line_18:       6. (optional) parallel PC image
    line_19:       7. Mode 2 target acquisition
    line_21:       To assess the accuracy of maneuvering, the engeneering
    line_22:       data have to be analysed as well, but no requirement
    line_23:       is necessary on transmission speed

    line_2:        it is not possible to check all intruments at once.
    line_4:        As first priority, FOS and GHRS should be tested (once
    line_5:        a month the first 6 months - to check for short term
    line_6:        variations -, then every two months). HSP calibration
    line_7:        probably depends on need, but FOC should be calibrated
    line_8:        as well, especially in case FOC-assited target
    line_9:        acquisitions become necessary.
