abstract:

    line_1:        This proposal defines tests to cross calibrate the HRS low and intermediate
    line_2:        resolution modes. Intermediate/low resolution standards will be observed with
    line_3:        the G140L, G140M,  G160M, G200M, and G270M grating.
    line_4:        One of the two primary objects is an FOS calibration star;
    line_5:        This is the only proposal that will provide cross-calibration
    line_6:        of GHRS and FOS.  Primary purpose is to provide time history
    line_7:        with two independent external sources.
    line_8:        An independent CAL proposal with the brighter star mu Col
    line_9:        as target will be used to monitor flux differences between
    line_10:       LSA and SSA and at a higher density of wavelengths.
