abstract:

    line_1:        The principal objective is to measure the location of the f/96 aperture with
    line_2:        respect to the V2V3 coordinate frame. The orientation of the detector and the
    line_3:        reseaux axes with respect to the V2V3 axes will be used to update the PDB and
    line_4:        the flight software, and is necessary to conduct future FOC observations. The
    line_5:        observations will also determine an area of NGC 188 to be used to establish the
    line_6:        position of the f/288 image (FOC015, ID 1491).
    line_8:        The opportunity should also be used to observe the potential area for the F/48
    line_9:        chain.

    line_1:        Use Mode III pointing to acquire the selected NGC 188 astrometric field. A
    line_2:        dwell scan sequence is then initiated, yielding a further eight exposures at
    line_3:        suitable offsets from the nominal target area, with appropriate overlap of the
    line_4:        images.
    line_6:        The final exposure returns to the nominal position to confirm the position of
    line_7:        the 512 x 512 with respect to the extended format. The sequence begins and
    line_8:        ends with an "intflat" exposure for tracking image distortion.
