Our goal is to understand the line_3: ionization of these clouds (and thus eventually their composition) by combining line_4: ST UV observations with ground-based observations and study several ionization line_5: stages of several elements. In addition, we will measure, or set limits on, line_6: the ionizing radiation at much higher energies than is currently possible from line_7: the ground. ! question: 3 section: 1 line_1: Low resolution FOS observations of 7 BALQSOs will be obtained.
