abstract:

    line_1:        A candidate star for the binary pulsar has previously been identified but the
    line_2:        precision of the astrometric measurement needs to be improved in order to
    line_3:        finally put to rest the question of whether or not this object lies at the
    line_4:        radio position. A single 10 minute PC image in the R band will provide the
    line_5:        initial data to determine if it is worth using the FGS to get results at the 2
    line_6:        milliarcsec level of precision.
