Calnic C is designed to set up all the necessary IDL environment variables. The only system requirement is that IDL is licensed for the workstation on which calnic C is run. It is also imperative that the machine support dynamic (run-time) linking of shared libraries. Check with your system administrator if linking problems are encountered.
