Continuum

The average of the continuum emission is computed at wavelengths shorter than the center wavelength of the line with the shortest wavelength $\lambda_s$, i.e. cont_short is computed as $\sum{F_l}$,where the sum is over all wavelength with $\lambda < \lambda_s - {\tt
cont\_factor}\times\sigma_s$.

Similarly, cont_long longwards of the line l with the longest wavelength is computed as $\sum{F_l}$, where the sum is over all wavelengths with $\lambda \gt \lambda_l + {\tt
cont\_factor}\times\sigma_l$.
