Viewing the Postscript Output Spectra

Use your favorite Postscript viewer to examine the output spectra files. For example, if your direct image is called ov3_dir.fits, the spectrum of the first object found will be plotted in file ROOT_0.ps which will be located in directory $CNC_SPECOUT (where ROOT is taken from the ROOTNAME keyword from the FITS file header, or whatever keyword isa actually declared to point to the target name in the $CALNIC_BASE/calib/fitskeywds.dat file).
To view this spectrum e.g. with ghostview, type:
ghostview $CNC_SPECOUT/ov2_0.ps
