Abstract We propose to use FGS in the TRANS mode to observe, at high angular resolution, four Hyades cluster members either to confirm a very faint companion or substantiate rapid orbital motion. These Hyades binaries are of particular importance because each probably contains either a very low-mass main sequence or a degenerate component. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Observations Description ------------------------ We will observe each of four Hyades cluster members once during Cycle 5 to confirm duplicity or substantiate rapid orbital motion.
