Scientific Justification. This activity will provide information on ghosting and the outer structure of the PSF. In particular it will provide confirmation that the tilt of the PC chip is sufficient to prevent ghosting. It also confirms the pointing of the possible rerun of Fine Alignment (5613). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 3. Description of proposed observations. Description: Two images will be taken in each chip: a 1 second exposure and a 100 second exposure. The 100 second exposures are intentionally over-exposed in order to verify that ghosting is not a problem and to explore the outer structure of the PSF. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 11.
