Description of proposed observations. This test consists of the following parts: I. G140L using BD+28 at 1200 & 1500 A in LSA II. G140M using BD+28 at 1200 & 1500 A in LSA III. G140L using BD+28 at 1200 & 1500 A in LSA & SSA IV. G140M using Mu Col at 1100, 1200, 1300, 1400, 1500, and 1600 A in LSA and SSA V. ECH-A using Mu Col with an OSCAN at the blaze peak (MLAMBDA=56100) in the LSA & SSA. A WSCAN along order 47 in the LSA only. Parts I & II to be executed 4x; Parts III-V 1x. For each part of the test, the star will be acquired using an RTB search, a double locate, and a map. With the target centered in the LSA a series of exposures will be made. The exposure times will produce approximately 1000 counts per diode in each spectrum bin at most wavelengths. After completion of the LSA exposures an RTB peakup will center the target in the SSA. The same exposure sequence will be performed with the target in the SSA. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 5. Description of special scheduling requirements. The first execution of this test should occur ONE(1) month after the completion of the following: "GHRS N1 and G140L Sensitivity Calibration--Cycle4", "GHRS ECH- A Sensitivity Calibration--Cycle4", and "GHRS G140M Sensitivity Calibration-- Cycle4". ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 7. Data reduction and analysis plans. The primary goal is to compare the observed count rates with the tabulated standard fluxes to monitor the post COSTAR sensitivity functions.
