This set of observations will produce additional flat field calibrations appropriate to the Cycle 2 time period. At one epoch during Cycle 2, high S/N spectra are obtained for G191B2B, which has a relatively featureless spectrum and which has been the primary target for earlier flat field observations. Description of special scheduling requirements. NOTE: It is required that ALL of the FOS/BL POLARIMETRY observations (lines 31 through 98 inclusive) in this proposal be scheduled AFTER the onboard GIM correction is in place. These lines (31-98 inclusive) should be scheduled ONLY after the blue-side Y-bases have been re-determined in companion proposal "FOS POLARIMETRIC CALIBRATION." PLEASE NOTE: ALL LINES IN THIS PROPOSAL should await GIM correction. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 6. Description of special calibration exposures. This proposal will provide a contemporaneous flat field for the PODPS pipeline calibration of Cycle 2 data. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 7. Data reduction and analysis plans. Data reduction will be performed at the STScI, and the analysis will be performed using STScI computer facilities.
