Abstract GHRS low dispersion spectra will be taken of hot stars in compact H II regions in the MCs and M33 where there is star-formation in progress. The GHRS large aperture will be placed by blind offset at the positions of several bright objects in each of several compact star-forming regions in the LMC, SMC and M33. An aperture map will identify the field and low dispersion spectra will be obtained covering the principal UV line features. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 4. Justification of need for HST observations. HST spatial resolution and UV throughput is essential to resolve the objects and obtain required spectral resolution to model the stellar populations and derive their temperatures and luminosities. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 5. Description of special scheduling requirements. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 7. Data reduction and analysis plans. DAO computers and software will be used on ST standard data products. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 10.
