Description of proposed observations. We will obtain UV spectra of 10 LAC, a relatively bright, sharp-line O star, with the GHRS/G160M grating. We will then make a detailed comparison with non-LTE model spectra. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 4. Justification of need for HST observations. The ST/GHRS is needed to obtain UV spectra at the required high S/N. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 13.
