ST required to obtain resolution and S/N in UV. IUE data are too noisy for this investigation. Observations of key spectroscpic lines in UV and far UV continuum. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 5. Description of special scheduling requirements. UV line profiles will be compared with each other and with theoretical ones to analyze (1) smoothness of wind; (2) limitations of models; 3) populations and metallicities; Weak features will be identified and analyzed in the same Interstellar lines will reveal local and intervening ISM dynamics. Appropriate analysis facilities and software exist at DAO. HRS 2000 resolution data will be obtained on principal stellar wind lines (NV, SiIV, CIV, NIV) in several OB clusters.
