Description of proposed observations. Three of the first five objects on the target list will be monitored for 30 minutes each on two occasions separated by a few days. Photometry will be done with the beam splitter on UV2 (F145M and F262M). These observations are to be carried out in Cycle 0. Cycle 1 observations will be influenced by the results obtained in Cycle 0. Cycle 0: 3H 30S; Cycle 1: 15 hours. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 4. Justification of need for HST observations. ST is required in order to observe in crowded fields and in the ultraviolet where the luminsoity variations are expected to be larger. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 13.
