A) Acquire Guide Stars in FGS 1 and 2. 1) Perform TRANSFER FUNCTION SCANS a) Locate and measure star 625 in FGS3 b) Locate and measure star 633 in FGS3 c) Locate and measure star 640 in FGS3 d) Locate and measure star 679 in FGS3 These are multiple scans, 5 passes with 2/3 aperture. This proposal should be executed whenever a focus check is required. There are roll constraints the first time the proposal is run. Once the Astrometry Team determines which two stars have the best characteristics for this test, the spcaecraft roll will be constrained to always put these two stars either in the same place in FGS #3 or in each other's place (swapped positions within FGS #3). The proposal is written assuming that stars 625 and 640 are the prime targets. The off-nominal roll angle may be changed if one or both stars are discovered to be unacceptable. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 5. Description of special scheduling requirements. Proposal may not be run between 29 April and 15 August. From 15 August until 22 December orient = .
