Scientific Justification. See abstract. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 3. Description of proposed observations. This test requires the placement of the secondary mirror at 5 positions (plus the original). At each position, an interactive FOS target acquisition (which could be an onboard if the peak-up mode is verified) will be performed. Observations will then be obtained in the 0.3, 0.5, 1.0, and 4.3 arcsec apertures using gratings G190H and G570H. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 5. Description of special scheduling requirements.
