Abstract This program contains SnapShot targets near four calibration targets, NGC 188, GRW 5824, HD 124063, and Epsilon Sco. The SnapShot targets are intrinsically bright quasars at large redshifts; the HST will be used to reveal secondary stellar images produced by gravitational lensing. Each exposure is for two minutes with the WPC. Images of targets near calbration sources will be taken with the Wide Field/Planetary Camera when there is a substantial time gap between previously scheduled observations. The images will be taken through either the F555W or F785LP filters, and the exposure length will be two minutes on gyros. No relative priorities have been given to the individual observations as the order of observation will be decided solely by whichever target will produce a minimum of HST motion when an unscheduled block of time occurs. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 4. Justification of need for HST observations. This proposal is designed to increase the efficiency of the HST. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 5. Data reduction and analysis plans.
