This procedure must be done in order to verify that the HSP can be successfully commanded to control the heaters and be put into oldhold mode. This is necessary because oldhold mode must be accomplished prior to further commanding of the HSP. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 3. Description of proposed observations. This internal procedure requires no external targets. The test consists of he following steps: 1) Prepare VFHTRCTRL for execution. 2) Prepare VFGLOG for execution. 3) Prepare VFPITMON for execution. 4) Prepare VFBANANA for execution. 5) Enable the HSP Heater Control AP. The VFHTRCTRL processor requires the following variables: VFHSWOK,VFWUFUN,VFTONINT,VFCLDLIM, VHHOTLIM, and VFHTRTMP to be available on board. 6) Dump the HSP SHP and UDL. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 5. Description of special scheduling requirements. This internal test shall be performed using stored program commands. This activity must be performed after HSP initial activation and final C&DH checkout (prop 2126) are complete and before any other HSP activities. This internal test requires that the HSP be in safe mode and that the C&DH must also be capable of supporting application processes and stored command sequences. The HSP flight software application processor for heater control must be loaded into the NSSC-1. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 7. Data reduction and analysis plans. Data reduction and analysis consists of verifying that the heater control application processor is loaded properly by examining the HSP Unique Data Log (UDL). Further verification of the operation of the application processor is implicit in the long term trend of HSP temperaures. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 10.
