Description of proposed observations. Firmware Mode Acquisition: Configure the FOS Blue detector for the image mode and select the 4.3 arcsec aperture. Acquire guide stars to place the target in the 4.3 arcsec aperture and initiate moving target tracking. Take an ACQ image. Perform a firmware mode target acquisition, producing a coarse map followed by another ACQ image. It is expected that this will fill one HST visibility period. On the following orbit, reacquire the guide stars, take an ACQ image and a firmware mode target acquisition, with both coarse and fine maps. Then do 2 ACQ/images, to check target drift. On the third orbit of the test, do an ACQ, a firmware ACQ with fine map, spectrum and final ACQ. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 5.
