HRS will be used to derive CIV line profiles of 3 objects. The two QSOs will be observed once and the Sy 1 will be repeated twice, as its ground-based spectra have shown changes. Observations to be made in any cycle. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 4. Justification of need for HST observations. ST + HRS required for UV sensitivity and resolution. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 7. Data reduction and analysis plans. All analysis of ST spectra can be done at DAO. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 8. Additional comments or special requests. Advice of schedule in advance will help to schedule ground-based spectroscopy near the same time.
