Description of proposed observations. A 10 hour exposure through the clear filter on a UV1 (IDT#2) (1200-3000 A) will be made using 10.8 usec sample times. The exposure will be interrupted as little as possible due to Earth occultations and the inability to collect data at 1 Mbit/sec rates for long periods. Cycle 2 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 4. Justification of need for HST observations. Both UV coverage and high time resolution are needed. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 5. Description of special scheduling requirements. Source must be observed at zero phase of 163 day period. Note that source is in LMC, so that it should be near the continuous viewing zone. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 8.
